Happy New Year Brethren!

Welcome to the first 2025 edition of the St Nicholas Lodge Bugle and behalf of our new Worshipful Master, Scott Lewis Davison may we wish you a very happy and healthy new year. We hope you are keeping warm and well during this cold snap.

Our first meeting of the year is always near to New Years Day and this year was no exception – it was on New Years Day! As the day fell on a Bank Holiday, the meeting was moved to Wednesday 8 January.

We were delighted to welcome Bro Dan Henley from the Provincial Learning and Development Team who gave us an interesting presentation on the origins of modern Freemasonry. The lodge was very grateful for an informative and interesting presentation.

The ceremony was attended by 9 visitors from 3 lodges and as always they were warmly welcomed and received. We were also delighted to propose a new candidate for initiation.
