Welcome to the March edition of the St Nicholas Lodge Bugle. At our regular meeting the brethren certainly had a ‘Spring’ in their step as we welcomed our newest initiate and Brother, Graeme Needham. Graeme who is currently a Fleet Manager at Dial A Ride was proposed by our membership officer, Bro. James Hayward and Seconded by W. Bro Roger Kaye. 

We were delighted to be visited by 18 visitors from 5 lodges, many of whom were Entered Apprentices or Fellow Crafts, some visiting for the first time. They were very welcome. We also had a visiting United Grand Lodge Officer from Old Hymerian Lodge in Hull, W. Bro Mike Roberts (PJGD). They were treated to an excellent ceremony by all the brethren involved in the ceremony, particularly our Worshipful Master, Scott Davison. 

The Entrusting was given by W. Bro Ron T Penny, the North East Corner by Bro Alex Blackman, Working Tools by Bro James Hayward and the Charge by W. Bro Jamie Wallis. 

The festive board was lively as always and the chain was given by W. Bro Chris Blackman. It was a delight to see so many new Masons at the lodge and there was a noticeable absence of dark blue!
